Measure the rice using a cup. Pour in a pan and wash it clean a few times. Add double the amount of water and let it cook on medium heat till the water is absorbed.
Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the vegetables and cook for approximately 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add the cooked chicken pieces (or tofu pieces for vegan) and stir. Then add the sauce mixture, and cook for 2 minutes or until the sauce has just started to thicken.
